The conference was opened by Benjamin Jošar, CEO of Triglav Skladi, with an opening welcome. This was followed by an address by Dr Živa Jezernik, Triglav Skladi Board Commissioner, who highlighted sustainability and leadership as key elements in shaping our common future.

"Leadership of the future must be like the Olympic Games - inclusive, diverse and committed to transcending boundaries," said Dr Jezernik. She recalled historical moments such as the inclusion of women in the 1900 Olympic Games and stressed the importance of including diverse voices in leadership.

The main part of the conference, moderated by Anja Hlača Ferjančič, was a panel discussion on "The role of leaders and the future". The panelists were Anita Stojcevska, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of SKB Bank, Eva Jelnikar, Global Head of Climate Solutions, Versuni (Philips Appliances), Vanja Černivec, Vice President of Sports, Golden State Valkyries (WNBA), Luka Steiner, President & CEO, Sports Lottery, Miha Mermal, Executive Director Marketing & Sustainability, BTC, and Benjamin Jošar, President & CEO, Triglav Skladi

The discussion covered a variety of topics including the future of leadership, the impact of sport on society, digital transformation and artificial intelligence. Participants shared their views on the challenges and opportunities facing leaders today.

The panelists agreed with the conclusion of Dr Jezernik's keynote speech, in which she stressed that the future of leadership requires vision, strategic thinking, empathy and resilience, in addition to inclusiveness and competitiveness. "Such leaders are able to identify change and challenges and turn them into opportunities for growth and development," she said.

The conference was an important event for bringing together different sectors and finding common solutions to future challenges. Triglav Skladi remains committed to promoting sustainable development and governance based on the values of inclusion and collaboration.
